The Junior Blue Warrior Club is Innoceana’s way to involve the children of the community in marine conservation with the aim of creating a future generation of Champions for the ocean.
The Club offers children access to a series of marine workshops and educational activities that bring underwater wonders to the surface, creating a fun learning environment while inspiring ocean conservation and protection.
Every month, the Blue Warriors will come 2 times to our Marine Conservation and Education Center in Ojochal to learn about the ocean with interactive workshops that will teach them about the wonders of the marine world and the threats Costa Rican waters face. At the end of every month, the Innoceana team will organize a field trip with the Blue Warriors to a near and exciting location to learn about conservation in a more practical way.
1 Conservation Fieldtrip
Every month, the Blue Warriors, along with the Innoceana team and some parents, will leave the MCEC Innoceana to different locations to do some hands-on conservation! These field trips will vary from Beach Clean Ups, reforestation, visits to the National Parks, or even visits to other conservation organizations. The destination will always be discussed with the parents and may incur an additional fee.
2 Marine Life Workshops
Every month, the Blue Warriors will learn about the ocean and how to protect it in an interactive and fun way! The workshops will be a continuous learning about topics like the marine animals from Costa Rican waters, the threats they are facing or the problem of Plastic Pollution in our oceans, always including different interactive activities like art, games, storytelling or virtual reality.

Monthly membership : $50/month *
* Registration fee (only once) : $35 with MCEC T-shirt included
* Includes 10% discount on all MCEC Merchandising and Experiences for the child and 1 parent
